Now you can easily retro-fit your existing track timing system and keep electronic records.  The system also generates the required files which allows your track to participate in the IHRA national points program.

Using I-Logger software and a special connection cable will enable your existing race track TIMER such as Chrondek, Track Services Inc., and many others to keep a electronic record of your racing events. The TIMER is connected to a low-end utility quality PC such as a "486". Using the information that is normally sent to the Tower Log Printer, the I-LOGGER system keeps a record of your race day in both a RAW Printer format and a IHRA compatible file which can be emailed directly to IHRA after the Race day is completed.   I-LOGGER also "Buffers" the log printer, which means that if your tower log printer becomes disabled for any reason the I-LOGGER will continue to store the real-time data and catch up the printer when it comes back on line. You can even reprint the last run or the entire evening's of events as a exact duplicate of the original Log Sheets.

            Additional benefits of the system: With electronic copies of your log sheet and vital data, you can easily import it directly to Excel or any other database program you like. This in-turn allows you to complete your own record keeping without having to hand write everything down or manually re-keying it back into a computer.

      ·         486 or higher computer running DOS  (Windows is ok but will be disabled during I-Logger use)
·         1.44 Floppy Drive
·         20mb or larger Hard drive
·         Standard PC printer cable (Your existing tower printer needs to be connected to the I-Logger computer)

If you already use a VGA monitor for your track timer then you may use a switch box to share it with both units. Also older laptop's are ideal for this application because they can then easily transported after the race and off-load the data later. Used laptops suitable for this application can be bought for as little as $250.00.
